1. D1

   Day 1: Pokhara to Ghandruk

   Drive to Nayapul and trek through terraced hills to the Gurung village of Ghandruk.

   Day 2: Ghandruk to Chhomrong

   Descend to the Kimrong Khola, then climb to the ridge-top settlement of Chhomrong.

   Day 3: Chhomrong to Bamboo

   Drop into the Modi Khola valley and trek through dense bamboo and rhododendron forests.

   Day 4: Bamboo to Deurali

   Continue upward through the forest, passing the Hinku Cave and arriving at Deurali.

   Day 5: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

   Enter the Annapurna Sanctuary and reach ABC (4,130 m) surrounded by a ring of peaks.

   Day 6: ABC to Bamboo

   Wake to golden sunrise views and descend retracing your steps through the sanctuary.

   Day 7: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda

   Trek to Jhinu Danda and soak in the natural hot springs by the Modi Khola river.

   Day 8: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul & Pokhara

   Walk to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara for a well-earned rest.
