Day-by-day itinerary

1. D1

   Day 1: Arrival in Thanjavur & Brihadeeswarar Temple

   Arrive at Tiruchirappalli airport, transfer to Thanjavur. Evening visit to the Brihadeeswarar Temple (Big Temple) for the palliarai pooja and to witness the 216-foot vimana at sunset.

2. D2

   Day 2: Tanjore Palace & Gangaikonda Cholapuram

   Morning visit to Thanjavur Maratha Palace and Saraswathi Mahal Library. Afternoon drive to Gangaikonda Cholapuram to see the temple built by Rajendra Chola I.

3. D3

   Day 3: Airavatesvara Temple & Artisan Village

   Visit the Airavatesvara Temple at Darasuram, a UNESCO site with ornate chariot-shaped shrines. Afternoon explore Thanjavur painting workshops and bronze-casting artisans.

4. D4

   Day 4: Natyanjali Dance Festival Experience & Departure

   Morning classical Bharatanatyam session at a heritage gurukul. After lunch, depart for Tiruchirappalli with blessings and a Tanjore painting souvenir.
