   Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar

   Cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi and ascend to the bustling Sherpa capital of Namche.

   Acclimatisation day

   Day 4: Acclimatization in Namche

   Hike to the Everest View Hotel for your first glimpse of Everest, then explore the local markets.

   Day 5: Namche to Tengboche

   Trek through rhododendron forests to Tengboche, home to the region's most important monastery.

   Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche

   Descend to the Imja Khola and climb steadily to the stone-walled fields of Dingboche.

   Day 7: Acclimatization in Dingboche

   Hike to Nagarjun Hill for panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Makalu.

   Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche

   Follow the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, passing memorials to fallen climbers, to reach Lobuche.

   Day 9: Lobuche to Everest Base Camp & Gorak Shep

   Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) amid the Khumbu Icefall, then return to Gorak Shep.
