Day-by-day itinerary

1. D1

   Kathmandu heritage exploration

   Begin with a morning visit to Pashupatinath and Boudhanath, learning about Nepal's spiritual traditions. After lunch, explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, walking through its medieval lanes and tasting the famous king curd. Depart for Nagarkot by late afternoon, driving up winding roads through pine forests to the hill station.

2. D2

   Himalayan sunrise, Changu Narayan & Bhaktapur

   Wake at 5:00 AM and walk to the Nagarkot View Tower. As dawn breaks, watch the Himalayan range emerge from darkness: Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar, and on the clearest days, Everest. After breakfast, hike down to Changu Narayan temple, Nepal's oldest Hindu shrine, through terraced fields and Tamang villages while your guide explains local farming practices and village life. Continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square to explore the 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, and Pottery Square, and enjoy a traditional juju dhau (king curd) before returning to Kathmandu by late afternoon.
